Rebellious Truth

Fleur decided to use ice for this since she was better at controlling it. She slowly did as he told her, concentrating on nothing but her energy. It was interesting being taught a proper way to use her element. She grinned once she did it correctly.

Jack smiled, "Very good, now get it to the size of your palm." Jack followed the same and made his shadow ball the size of his palm.

Fleur nodded and carefully increased the size of the ice ball, at times it looked as if it were about to explode in a thousand tiny pieces but thankfully it didn't.

"Alright now this is the tricky part." Jack said, "Slowly open your fingers but keep the balance of energy and speed. The faster the spin, the better the shape which means the power will also be better." His tone was low and intense, "It usually helps if you have a calm mind and feel nothing but the ball in your hand. Don't let your mind realize you are opening your fingers."

Fleur nodded and tried to blank her mind. It was difficult since there were so many thoughts running through it. She focused on her energy and began to slowly open her hand, trying not to focus on the actual act of opening her hand.

Jack watched the spinning ball of ice as her fingers opened, he didn't say anything since it would break her concentration. Copper got up and Jack immediately put a finger to his mouth for him to be quiet, the oranged haired man nodded and stayed at his spot.

Since her ears were more sensitive than a human's she heard the person behind he wake up and all concentration was lost. She cursed in her mind when she realized what had happened.

The ball of ice shook before cracking and exploding. Jack covered his eyes so no ice went into his eyes, Akuma's growl was heard soon after, "Who the fuck is making ice explode?" Copper still said nothing as Jack sighed and took the breakfast off the fire.

Fleur winced when she got hit by several shards of her own ice. She sighed and began pulling a few out of her hand with an annoyed scowl.

"Akuma stop swearing, you are a Creed Leader!"
"Shut up, Asatine...." Said a groggy Akuma as he sat up and yawned, "So how many days do you think before we get to the edge of the forest?" Everyone looked at Jack who was quiet for a moment. "About a day, maybe a few added hours more."

Eren sat up letting Lita continue to sleep on his hand and listened in on the conversation. Fleur sighed and fell onto her back and stared up at the moon. It wasn't that long of a time period but it still sucked.

Jack divided up the meat and berries he picked, Copper sat next to Fleur but didn't say anything. Akuma devoured his meet and Shavana's meat, Shavana didn't eat meat so she took Akuma's berries instead.

Eren woke up Lita so that she could eat but since she was so small he ate all of his and most of hers. Fleur ate silently, wondering why Copper was being so quiet. It was unlike him, and that bothered the demon girl.

Jack smirked, "So we will be arriving at the castle in a little less then two days." Copper finished his food and was playing with some metal, he yawned, "Good cause I wanna know how Kevin is." Shavana looked at him, "I contact him nightly through his dreams, he misses you two."

Fleur hinted at smiling when she heard the words. Truthfully she missed the boy too, she hated that they had to leave him behind.

"But he is well, right?" Jack asked and Shavana kept a straight face. "Almost. The ritual curse was removed from him and whatever ailed him before but he is still injured and has developed a slight fever due to the strain put on his body." Shavana suddenly looked down, a bit sad, "Jack, Copper...I think it would be best if Kevin stayed in the Moon Realm for a little while. His systems are badly damaged, especially his mind. I cannot repair his mind but the rest I can. He will have to recover dearly which will take a while but his two species are not in balance which will kill him." Jack blinked, surprised before sighing, "Will it save him?" Shavana nodded, "Then do so but...be gentle with him, alright? As soon as he is well, bring him back to the Star Realm." Shavana nodded.

Fleur stared at the ground as they spoke, she wished she could help Kevin but she knew it was impossible. Besides, once she got home her father would probably lock her in her room for the rest of her days as punishment for getting herself in such a dangerous situation.

Copper still played with the metal, forming it into different animals but a sad look laid on his face, "How long do you think he will need to recover?" He asked. "About two seasons or so." Copper morphed the metal into a rabbit, still not saying anything.

Fleur wanted to say something but she figured she would get in trouble for speaking. But she did it anyway. "Think on the bright side, he'll get better." she sounded terrible and it hurt to speak but the sad mood wasn't going to do any of them any good.

Copper smiled, "Yeah...she's right guys. Bai-Bai would want this for him, for him to get better." Jack looked at Copper for a long moment before smiling, "Yeah, that's true. I will inform her once we get back to our realm."

Fleur couldn't help but smile a bit. She was probably going to regret talking later, but right now she was just a bit happy since everyone else seemed to be doing better.

"But where is the kid going to stay?" Akuma asked as he sharpened his katana. Asatine shurgged, "I am not too sure though it will be best if he stays with someone he knows."

Once again Fleur was being a moron and decided to speak. "I can watch him. Father is usually not home and Mother, i'm sure, would be fine with letting him stay with us." She was annoyed that he voice sounded so weak as she spoke. She wished she was healed already.

"Fleur! I told you not to speak!" Shavana scolded but Copper laughed. "Shavana, she does have a good idea. You Creed Leaders are far too busy. Lita and lover boy don't know Kevin and not to mention me and Jack can't stay here for two seasons."
"Not to mention I really don't want Kevin to be living with Akuma or Seino for that long...." Jack said as he sweatdropped.

A grin floated onto Fleur's face, she was the only one who lived in the moon realm that would have the time to watch over him. She didn't speak again though, pissing off a creed leader wasn't a good idea.
